If you have a work-related problem your first contact will be the head teacher of your school.

Any other problems (or if work issues are not satisfactorily resolved) will be dealt with by Basant Bajracharya the local Oyster representative.

Basant has a wealth of experience in dealing with young travelers from the UK and has an office in central Kathmandu that is always open to Oyster volunteers.

Basant will meet you on arrival, run a short orientation course for you and will stay in touch throughout. He will also update the UK office on your progress.
