Nepal is home to the breathtaking Himalayan Mountains. The world's highest (and still growing) peaks are twice the height of the Alps and dominate this small country and its way of life. Most Nepalese live far from a road and must travel by foot or mule to carry on their daily business.

You should trek to see Nepal properly and you'll have the chance to go on three wonderful expeditions during your time there (all included in the price). You'll be rewarded by the dramatic scenery and your encounters with the hospitable Nepalese people.

Nepal has a rich culture and history and still has a king. Wherever you go in the country, you will see evidence of Hinduism and Buddhism. There are monasteries, shrines, prayer flags and temples everywhere.

There is also an astounding diversity of animal life, ranging from the Bengal tiger to rhinoceros and elephant.

The Oyster placements are all located in the Kathmandu valley and within an hour of central Kathmandu, Nepal's exotic capital. The valley contains several other towns, temples, treks, cloud forests, hot springs and views of the Himalayas.
