Your placements have been arranged by our experienced bilingual representative; he will meet you at Bucharest airport and drive the 2-3 hours up to Brasov to settle into your accommodation. You will have the first couple of days to visit the various projects and find your way around Brasov. His role is to be a helpful friend to you and to steer you through difficulties of any kind. He will keep us updated on your health and welfare.

Our representative will ensure your time in Romania is as productive, enjoyable and rewarding as it can be. You will see him regularly at work and at informal outings and his support on arrival, whilst you settle in, and during your placements will ensure your time away is as productive and fulfilling as possible.

(The programme as a whole was) 'Excellent, very reliable. Flexible enough to keep volunteers using the best of their abilities. The representative is brilliant. It's no surprise so many people return to Romania and with Oyster. I definitely will.' Tamsin Clube 2007

Short term volunteers (for the bear sanctuary) will also get support from our representative. Click here to find out more.
