Lucy Stuart and Leah Arnold enjoyed their time so much in Nepal that they could not face the thought of coming home at the end, so delayed their return by travelling around India for a few weeks. Oyster now offers placements in India so why not volunteer and travel around this fascinating country?

India needs little introduction, with a population of over a billion and a diverse culture, India has fascinated travellers and writers throughout history. Oyster is very fortunate to be able to offer placements in Sikkim, India’s smallest state. It borders Nepal, Tibet (China) and Bhutan and was an independent Himalayan Kingdom until 1975.
