11-week Ski Instructor Course in Morzine

Bonjour! France is renowned for being a desirable location with many landscapes to enjoy. Chic cities like Nice and Cannes by the Mediterranean coast attract holiday-makers and sun-worshippers every year. From old chateaus and vineyards in the Loire Valley, to surf beaches in Biarritz and snow-capped mountains in the Alps, there is always somewhere that suits your raison d’être!

The diverse landscape of the country allows for a wide array of cuisines and styles of food. Some classic dishes include; moule frites (mussels and chips) in Northern France, croque-monsieur (French twist on a ham and cheese toastie), Ratatouille from Southern France, French onion soup and, if you’re feeling brave, frogs legs and snails. To wash it down, France has some of the best wine regions in the world. From the celebrated Bordeaux and Burgundy regions found around the Dordogne and Gironde rivers and Dijon respectively to the bubbly Champagne region in the north!

In the Alps area many indulge in a pot of tasty cheese or meat fondue or gather round a table and share a tartiflette; which includes potatoes, Savoyard cheese, lardoons and onions. Simple but tasty!

The cities in France are steeped in history and culture which makes for some great exploring and discovery of unique places. Paris, ‘La Ville Lumière’, has many attractions including the famous Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triomphe, Louvre Museum and the Notre Dame. The striking tree-lined boulevards and small boutiques and café’s have made Paris become a grand, romantic and beautiful city. There are many urban parks, artists making caricatures of people and the typical Parisian baroque architecture seen everywhere.

Places like Grenoble and Lyon are two architecturally beautiful cities which are situated very close to the mountains too! After a week working in the city, many people grab their ski gear and head up towards the mountain resorts. Meaning day trips to the slopes is very accessible.

The French Alps are synonymous with amazing skiing, beautiful scenery, sunny skies, raclette and vin-rouge and great après-ski. We are pleased to be working with our partners in Morzine for the 2017/18 winter season. Our programme is designed for people who want to spend a winter season in arguably the best place for snow sports in Europe, improve their skiing, make some great friends and even gain a qualification or two!  Based in Portes du Soleil – one of the largest ski areas in the world, Morzine has attracted thrill-seekers from around the world. With 650km of quality pistes and fluffy snow, the resort will ensure a great skiing experience.

So, if you are looking to soak up the French culture and enjoy the slopes and gain a qualification from it, then the 11-week course in Morzine is perfect for you.
There is a great ‘work-hard, play-hard’ mentality in the French Alps, where after a long day skiing on the mountains, many make use of the local bars and clubs in the town – there’s always plenty of time for a beer or two! You’ll be guaranteed a great social side to the resort.
