Accommodation
Centrally located shared hostel in Rome, within walking distance of historic landmarks and close to public transport. Private rooms may be available on request. Meal vouchers are provided for included meals.
Travel arrangements
Arrive by flight into Rome Fiumicino (FCO) or Ciampino (CIA), or via train. You’ll be collected on arrival and taken to your accommodation. Return transfers are not included.
Pre-departure briefing
A full info pack will be sent at least four weeks before you travel, including project details, expectations, cultural tips, and practical advice for life in Rome.
Medical
Routine vaccinations are not typically required for Italy. Speak with your GP or travel clinic for personalised advice. Please inform us of any pre-existing health conditions before booking.
Insurance
You must take out comprehensive travel insurance covering health care, cancellation, lost items, and emergencies. This should be arranged once your place is confirmed.
Any risk factors
Rome is generally safe, but petty theft like pickpocketing can occur in busy areas. Keep valuables secure and follow guidance from your local team.
Downtime
You’ll have afternoons, evenings, and weekends free to explore Rome independently. Please share your plans with the team for safety.
