Throughout the year we spend time travelling around the country visiting schools, colleges and universities, meeting with students and parents to talk about the programmes we offer.
Here is a list of just some of the schools, colleges and universities that we will be visiting over the next few months. Many of these events are open to the public so please do come along and meet us, there is no charge to you!
We are invited to attend gap year fairs (where you will find us with our banner, handing out our literature and answering questions) and also to give gap year presentations throughout the year.
Our presentation is neutral and discusses the pros and cons of a gap year and gives you an idea of the opportunities available. The aim of the talk is for you to go away with a better understanding of gap years, the options available and how it can contribute to your future with regards to university and employment, as well as to your self-esteem and life experiences.
If you are a teacher and would be interested in Oyster giving an impartial gap year talk for your students, please do get in touch with Sarah by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call her directly on 01892 771973. To read more about the talks and fairs we do, read our blog.
