If you are aged 17, there are many programmes that you can take part in with parental consent. If you want to spend your school holidays doing something different, why not explore the world and take part in a worthwhile project abroad. From sports coaching in South Africa to volunteering on a marine conservation programme in Thailand, there are plenty of exciting options to choose from. It is a great way to build valuable experience for university and college applications. It is also an excellent way to meet like-minded friends from around the world.

For those aged 16-18, Oyster Worldwide also offer a 2 week pre-medical summer special. Our internship offers students, looking to study medicine, the chance to see the Taj Mahal, to live in stunning Palampur and to shadow fully qualified doctors in hospitals. It is a perfect opportunity to gain an insight into the medical profession and to experience a variety of different departments. What makes our 16-18 year old programme so special? The group is accompanied by our UK leader for the entire adventure.
