Photo blog: Conservation in Australia

When I went out to Australia last month I was really looking forward to getting my hands dirty and visiting our conservation programme. Learning about conservation in Australia was fascinating and finding out how the hard work of volunteers contributes to this was really compelling.

I love this programme as it is a great way for travellers to contribute a little whilst they are away from home. Australia is such a vast country and it has a unique environment which means that conservation in imperative. Whilst I was there I was lucky enough to visit a couple of different sites near Melbourne. Check out a few of the photos that I look below.

If you would like to get involved in or hear more about the programme then get in touch harriet@oysterworldwide.com or check out our website. Conservation in Australia Waterway management Clearing invasive species Working hard clearing invasive species Australia Hard at work clearing invasives Learning about the environmentClearing waterways Learning about local environment
