Family Volunteering with elephants in Thailand

Travel to the northern jungles to help preserve and improve the lives of the Asian elephant. As a family, you can make a real contribution to a rapidly developing conservation organisation which helps to provide sanctuary for rescued elephants. Many of the elephants have been abused and used for street begging; you and your family will actively be helping to improve their lives and living conditions.

Dates: This project runs throughout the year. Arrival day to Chiang Mai is a Sunday.

Suitability: Your children need to be a minimum of 12 to be able to get involved in this. You will need to be happy to get stuck in and mucky, prepared for some rustic accommodation and be open to a very different experience.
